FKN Federation

National Federation of Disabled Supporters

Established in 2016, the NFDS brings together 23 associations and foundations working on behalf of disabled supporters in Poland. Our main goal is to professionalise the activities for disabled supporters and ensure their active participation in football matches.

Football for everyone
We strive for everyone to enjoy the excitement of football, regardless of any health or mobility issues. This is the sixth edition in which we are working together to show that sport is for everyone.
Stadiums friendly to all supporters
Our mission is to promote accessibility in stadiums and ensure that they are welcoming and safe places for everyone. We want to encourage people with disabilities to actively participate in football matches.
We act so everyone can support live
During the campaign, football clubs across Poland will undertake various accessibility initiatives, such as inviting groups of disabled supporters to matches, organising audio descriptions for blind people, and promoting the idea of barrier-free stadiums.
Together we can build a space that does not exclude
Stadiums Without Barriers is the result of cooperation between several organisations of disabled supporters, the Polish Football Association, Ekstraklasa SA, football clubs, and the Federation of Disabled Supporters, which coordinates the entire campaign.

Our projects

Stadiums Without Barriers

The main goal of the campaign is to promote Polish football, clubs, and stadiums as safe and open places for everyone, regardless of their health conditions, disabilities or special needs.

Our mission

The main goal of the Federation is to develop the community of Polish disabled supporters, which means, quite simply, that it plans to support local and club initiatives as well as to bring more groups into its network, so that barrier-free support for sport reaches as many people in Poland as possible.

Social campaign

Disability. Invisibility? That’s me.

We want to raise awareness among Wrocław residents about the amenities available to people with disabilities, how they work, as well as appropriate etiquette towards them in public spaces in the broadest sense.

What is it about?
The campaign “Disability. Invisibility? That’s me!” aims to raise awareness among Wrocław residents about the challenges faced by people with disabilities. Through posters, films, and other materials, we want to educate the public and highlight the need for accessible facilities in public spaces, especially on public transport.
Who is behind it?
The campaign is implemented by the Wrocław Industry Group for People with Disabilities, bringing together over 30 organisations and institutions. The project involves, among others, the Lower Silesian Federation of Non-Governmental Organisations and the Municipal Social Welfare Centre.
What is it for?
We want to increase acceptance and understanding of people with disabilities. Our goal is for Wrocław residents to better understand why facilities are introduced and how to behave towards people with disabilities, creating a city friendly to everyone.
What do we do?
We prepare educational materials such as films, posters and infographics that show the daily challenges of people with disabilities. Through these activities, we want to raise public awareness of accessibility and appropriate behaviour in public spaces.
